All sessions are booked and paid for in advance, via our booking line on 01723 870521.
Trekking is our dog-scootering session which allows you 'become a musher', driving on a scooter pulled by two huskies. Hiking is on foot, and uses specialist cani-belts to attach you to a dog to walk through the beautiful North York Moors. Please see the trekking and hiking pages for more information.
All sessions include a full kennel visit to meet our 30 sled dogs, and hiking and trekking sessions both include full training, all safety equipment, as well as your hiking/ trekking experience. Please see the hiking and trekking pages for more information.
Gift vouchers can be purchased for all trekking, hiking, and kennel visit sessions, via our booking line on 01723 870521. Please see the hiking and trekking pages for more information on the different experiences available.
We have 30 sled dogs at the centre, all of whom are extremely friendly and love to meet new people!
Full safety equipment is provided, and full training is given to ensure you are safe throughout your Pesky Husky experience.
You should dress appropriately for the weather, as with all Pesky Husky experiences you will be spending time outdoors. You should wear long trousers, stable, robust, and supportive closed-toe footwear, and preferably long sleeves for trekking sessions as you will need to wear elbow pads. If you booked your session using a gift voucher, you should bring your voucher with you. You are more than welcome to bring a camera and take lots of pictures of your Pesky Husky experience (please check with a member of staff where you are allowed to take photographs).
You do need a basic level of physical fitness and must make Pesky Husky aware of any existing medical conditions (see terms and conditions). The maximum weight limit for our trekking scooters is 17 stone.
We welcome people of all ages across multiple activities. Adults are restricted by physical fitness, and children's activities are dependent on fitness, height, weight, and ability, so please enquire about your group members directly via telephone on 01723 870521 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please see our Contact Us page for full directions and travel information. You should aim to arrive at least ten minutes before your session starts. Please see the hiking and trekking pages for more information on how long your session will last.
Please see our terms and conditions if you need to cancel, and contact us as soon as possible on 01723 870521.
